Frequently Asked Questions

What are store hours?

We are open Tuesday – Saturday 11am – 6pm, closed Sunday and Monday.

Where is the shop located?

Our address is 5341 Ballantyne Commons Parkway, Suite 550 Charlotte, NC 28277. We are located in the Providence Promenade shopping center between LOFT and Sun and Ski Sports.

Do you buy?

Absolutely! We limit our purchasing to items that we believe customers would be interested in. For example, we receive multiple inquiries daily regarding late 80s and early 90s Baseball. Unfortunately, we are not buying those collections, because our collectors aren’t buying them. However, if you have a collection from the 50s and 60s, we are interested in buying those. We are always buying quality items and collections!

How do I sell to you?

Feel free to come by the shop with your items for sale during business hours! If you are unable, or the shop is busy when you arrive, please fill out our contact form. Attach photos of your images, and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

What is my item worth?

The market value is not established until the item is sold. The market is fluid. For items that are frequently transacted, eBay’s “sold listings” serve as the most reliable indicator of current market value. Watch the video below for step-by-step on how to see sold items on eBay.

Do you grade cards?

No. We recommend the industry leader, PSA. If you have specific questions about grading, swing by the shop or complete the contact form.

Will grading my cards make them more valuable?

Not necessarily. While graded cards may be more liquid, grading doesn’t guarantee that your cards will sell for more than their ungraded “raw” counterparts.

If I’ve pulled my cards straight from packs and carefully protected and stored them, can I anticipate them grading a 10?

Unfortunately not. The manufacturing is the most critical aspect in the condition of a card. Most cards straight out of packs are Mint/9. Some are better, some are worse.

Do you authenticate autographs?

We partner with JSA for in-shop autograph authentication. Follow us on social media @cltsportcollect for information and scheduled dates regarding on-site autograph authentication.
